start of Oprah's diet

I just watched Oprah where 4 of his employees went on a 3 month diet. It's pretty simple:

no refined sugars
good carbs only
be conscious of what you eat all the time
exercise vigorously eight times a week
no alcohol (ain't gonna follow this one; I drink one beer every two-three weeks)

I plan to lose 30 pounds by mid-May. I just won't have Bob Greene, Oprah's personal trainer, to yell at me. I guess I have to yell at myself. I started on February 15 and I'm doing ok.

Yesterday, I ate very little carbs, veggies, lotsa meat, and exercised by walking/jogging the dogs and doing 100 reps on the total gym.
